Benefits for strength training include;
Being able to lift heavy objects
Burning calories=losing weight
Building strong lean muscle. The more lean muscle you have the more energy you need to use the more calories you burn. The more calories you burn the more weight you lose. Strength training can be very beneficial however it can be dangerous when not careful. If you're new to strength training make sure to work with an experienced partner ( physical trainer) use weightlifting belts, make sure to have proper form and always have a spotter.
