The very first step that you should do is to ind equation for the line[tex]y+1=(7/2)x-21/2[/tex]
[tex]y=(7/2)x-23/2[/tex]
After that, suppose x=t, which means that [tex]y=(7/2)t-23/2[/tex]
and you can see that x=t
And what about y, 
[tex]y=(7/2)t-23/2[/tex]
