Well to start off by making a T-chart and writing down common multiples, Once you have done this you can start comparing the same multiples until you find the greatest that goes into each. This is fairly easy but takes some time to understand. I hope I answered your question if not pls give me some feedback and ask for clarification. I found an example which is similar.
