6r+7=13+7r
so first you get the variable on one side
then you would get
r+7=13
subtract 7
r= 6

Subtract 6r on both sides and you get... 7=13+7r
Then subtract 13 on both sides and get.... -6=1r
Divide by 1 and you get r=-6 because when you divide a negative and positive you get a negative answer.
