Allies had difficulies supplying to the vast areas of the world as it was hard to always reach on time the demands which were required of them in the Pacific theater but more importantly on European soil. Also due to rapid advances of the Allied forces at times.

Answer:

The Allied forces had problems with the supply of food, ammunition, medicines, clothing, among others .

Explanation:

In Britain, supply of the armed forces became a problem in the summer of 1940, when the Battle of the Atlantic began where European Axis powers through its submarine fleets progressively began attempts to block Allied naval routes in the Atlantic ; in order to prevent the arrival of supplies to the United Kingdom and the Soviet Union.  Rigorous rationing was imposed on both civilians and the military. The weakness of the supply system was transportation, and it continued until the war against the German submarines was won. On the other hand, British units in the Middle East received adequate supplies across the Mediterranean.
