Communication within
healthcare differ within other industries since in a healthcare setting is one
of the most important tools we need for providing great patient care and
improving patient satisfaction. Thus, every patient who comes to a hospital has
a team of people involved in providing care throughout their healing process
such as doctors and nurses to hoousekeeping and culinary teams and even their
family and loved ones. For this, where there are so many parties involved it is
understandable that misteps in communication could occur and careful and
consistency in communication is considered very necessary in healthcare.
