While people are laughing intensely, their heart rates might go up somewhat. For that reason I'm guessing that Victoria's heart rate rose when she was laughing with her friends, especially if someone made a great joke! The same can be said for her friends as well. If they're walking at a brisk pace this might elevate their heartbeats as well, howevre, if they're walking at a normal speed this shouldn't really elevate their heartbeats.
