 146.15 - 1.85y + 1.25y = 127.55
-1.85y + 1.25y = 127.55 - 146.15
-0.60y = -18.6
-0.60y / -0.60 = -18.6 / -0.60
y = 31

Since y represents the number of bottles of fruit juices this means that the Mr. Kelly's class sold 31 bottles of fruit juices.
