What impression do you get of the relationship between the speaker and his lost lover?Support your view with reference to the poem.

The impression you get is mourning. They are upset over the loss of their lover and now feel the loss at the funeral. They are starting to feel a weight of sadness if you will during the last paragraph is when they express the most grief.
