Yes they do. Take for example Grimm’s Fairy Tales, they would try to instill morals through their stories. There was one titled The Goose Girl and in it the princess was overtaken by her maiden and the maiden pretended to be the princess in order to marry the prince. She was found out, and they asked her what would she do if someone did that to her (because she didn’t realize they had found her out) and she gave a very cruel punishment. So, of course, they did exactly as she said to her. The moral from this could be to do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
