If 7 people can paint 8 walls in 24 minutes, then 7 people can paint 1 wall in 3 minutes.  (24/3=8)

One person would take 7 times as long to paint one wall, so 1 person can paint 1 wall in 21 minutes.   (7 x 3=21)

6 people can paint 1 wall in 1/6 the time (6 x as fast)  1/6 x 21/1 = 21/6 minutes

Ten wall would take 10x as long or 210/6 minutes  or 105/3 = 35 minutes.
