The basic technique is to put the decimal (for this example we'll use 0.75.) on top of 1: [tex] \frac{0.75}{1} [/tex]. Then, you will multiply both sides by 100, since this decimal goes to the hundredths place. That will turn it into a whole number:
[tex] \frac{75}{100} [/tex]
Then, simplify it: [tex] \frac{15}{20} [/tex] = [tex] \frac{3}{4} [/tex]. 

Of course, it will be different based on which decimals you are trying to convert, but this is the simple version. This technique works for most decimals. 
Also, there are PLENTY of videos and other instructions online if you sitll don't get it.
