King Philip's war is similar to Bacon's rebellion in terms of its Indian-versus-English nature. As the name suggests, Bacon's rebellion was led by Nathaniel Bacon together with other Virginia settlers. Their rebellion was aimed to overthrow the rule of Governor William Berkeley. Among the factors that led to this rebellion is the colony's dismissive policies which prevented Bacon to continue his fur trade with the Indians.
