Since the Gulf Stream moves heat towards the countries in the North Atlantic Ocean, the climate in the coastal regions of these countries becomes warmer as a result contrasting the supposedly cold climate of the Atlantic. These northern atlantic coastal regions are perfect tourists spots if there are no typhoons in the area. Imbalance in heat typically causes disturbance in weather causing intermitent typhoons in the region.
