-134=-2+6(5b-2)

First, you must distribute.

-134=-2 + 30b - 12
Now combine like terms.

-134 = 30b - 14
Add 14 to both sides.

-120 = 30b
Divide both sides by 30.

-4 = b

The variable b is -4.
