Verrochio was famous for his paintings of religious motifs and for his sculptures that were cast out in bronze. He made a lot of such monuments and statues for a wide array of wealthy people from Italy, which is something that Leonardo could've learned from him. There aren't many paintings that can with certainty attributed to him.
