An object is said to possess a uniform circular motion if the object is moving with constant speed in a circular path. Example of objects which are moving with uniform circular motion are: an artificial satellite orbiting the earth at a constant height, a car turning through a curve in a race track and an electron moving perpendicularly to a uniform magnetic field.
