when sharon began shopping this morning she had 40.00 she purchased five paperback books and had lunch the book were all the same and lunch cost 3.25 she now has 7.00 left over what was the price of each of the books

$5.95 i found this by first i added 7 + 3.25 = 10.25 then i subtracted 10.25 from 40 which is 29.75. Then i divided 29.75 by 5. to get $5.95
