Eyeballs change shape at typical stages
of development, including puberty and middle adulthood. This makes it more
likely that nearsightedness will increase at puberty, and nearsightedness will
decrease during middle adulthood.
To add, nearsightedness (myopia) is a common cause of blurred vision.
It can be mild, moderate, or severe.
