Well for instance, it could cause some earthquakes to happen, which are a result of the tectonic plates moving and/or colliding with other. Any work humans may do to the Earth could possibly affect the natural movement of the tectonic plates.

Answer: Human activities are also directly related to the destructive forces on earth. Due to the continuous emission of carbon by burning up of fossil fuels, there has been increase in the amount of atmospheric carbon. In addition to that, because of the constant emission of toxic gases and chemical from the vehicles and factories, pollution has been significantly increasing day by day, as a result of which the overall temperature has globally increased, thereby leading into the increase in the global warming rate. It is due to which the ice in the polar region melts and the sea level rises.

Also other catastrophic events such as flood, earthquakes, folding and faulting of rocks at the mountains and volcanic eruptions are quite significant, but they occur naturally.
