A repeating decimal is a decimal that has a digit that repeats over and over. Remember some numbers cannot be expressed exactly as decimals with a infinite number of digits

3.25 repeating as a fraction =
322/99

                                              Steps to solve

1) Make an equation

2) Find # of repeating digits

3) Multiply

4) Subtract

5) Solve

Repeating numbers are the numbers, which repeats after the decimal, upto a large number of times, in that case, we know that numbers as irrational numbers.

Here, we need a number in fraction, that when we solve it gives 3.25 and repeating 5 so, It would be: 1932/594

Method of finding other numbers:
1) Take any natural number of your choice and multiply it by 3.25
2) Now, Try to add some small number like 1 or 2 or maybe in decimal like 0.3, 0.7 anything.
3) In that way,we adjust the situation so, it comes as an Irrational number.

Hope this helps!
