A water molecule, in light of its shape, is a polar particle. That is, it has one side that is decidedly charged and one side that is adversely charged. The particle is comprised of two hydrogen iotas and one oxygen molecule. The bonds between the particles are called covalent bonds, on the grounds that the molecules share electrons.
The molecular structure of water is H₂O. In other words, it has two atoms of Hydrogen (H) and one of Oxygen(O).

How do the atoms interact?
The atoms in the molecule of water share electrons. However, the oxygen attracts them a little more than the hydrogen, so the oxygen part of the molecule is more negative than the hydrogen part. As a result, we have a polar molecule because the electrons are more in one pole of the molecule than in the other.
The shape of the molecule
As it is a polar molecule with a difference in electronegativity that has the electrons more on the side of the oxygen than in the hydrogens, its shape is bent. In other words, oxygen is higher than hydrogens.
