The
churchs cemetery is believed to have Cherokee buried there. The
researchers are studying the subsurface to see if there are unmarked
graves of the Native Americans . They found a few unmarked graves and
have essentially digitized the entire cemetery . The evidence is
circumstantial because they are taking a noninvasive approach.
