Test II Direction: Determine whether the statement is true or false. 11. sin 60° csc 60° = 1 12. sec 30° = sec 60° 13. tan 45° + tan 45º = 2 14. cos 60° + sin 30° + tan 45º = 2 15. sin 60°/sin 30º = sin 2°11-15 How to solve the equation whether true or false?

Respuesta :

To solve whether these are true are false you just solve each side of each equation and see if they equal each other.

[tex]sin60csc60=1[/tex]

This is true because sin60*csc60 does equal 1.

[tex]\begin{gathered} sec30=\frac{2}{\sqrt{3}} \\ sec60=2 \end{gathered}[/tex]

So that one is not true.

[tex]tan45+tan45=2[/tex]

This is true.

[tex]cos60+sin30+tan45=2[/tex]

This is true.

[tex]\begin{gathered} \frac{sin60}{sin30}=\sqrt{3} \\ sin2\approx.909\text{ Assuming this is in radians and not 2}\degree. \end{gathered}[/tex]

So this one is not true.
