An application working with real-time data that needs to send the immediately will set PSH flag to accomplish this.

The push (PSH) flag is a transmission control protol (TCP) flag that instructs to send and receive the data immediately primarily for the applications dealing with real-time data. The real-time applications require that data be transferred as quickly as possible via TCP. The PSH flag becomes exteremly useful to facilitate the data transmission in real-time applications.
