The Awakening is a book by writer Kate Chopin. The primary person is an affluent lady, Edna, who's hitched and has two youngsters. The story starts in the last part of the 1800's with Edna actually appended to her marriage and social shows.

Antigone discusses Oedipus as a dad and sibling whose marriage strikes from the grave to kill hers, she implied that her destiny was because of the revile brought upon her by her dad's horrifying presence.

As she meets and engages with various individuals, lethargic sentiments return to the surface and she starts to conscious. Edna acknowledges she can liberate herself from social and honest convictions, and she can go on to seek after her own joy.
