Can someone help me please, I need to know what x is and also how to solve it and the workings, thank you

Here, the figure is parallelogram, where sum of complimentary angles are equal to 180 degree.
So, 5x + 35 + 5x + 45 = 180
10x + 80 = 180
10x = 180 - 80
x = 100 / 10
x = 10

In short, Your Answer would be 10

oooh i love these problems i would be more then happy to help you! the key is to set them equal like this...
5x+45=5x+35.... then you use PEMDAS....... subtract 35 from 45 and u get 10........ then subtract the X's and you get X=10 Hope this helps
