As due to the fact that pandas only eat bamboo, if bamboo were slowly chopped down, they could either go extinct due to the fact they have nothing to eat, but it possible for them to change their diet to eat other vegetations such as, fruits or other plants similar to bamboo.
Pandas are probably most likely going to eat another diet, unless their population slowly drifts and fade into dust and air. This is my opinion and thinking :D!
