Prohibition:
1: People protested against the making, drinking, and selling of alcoholic beverages because they stated that drinking was a sin that went against God according to the bible. Churches adopted these ideas because they wanted to remain "good Christians". This has caused the Church to look down upon the use of alcohol for non-ceremonial reasons.
2: The Germans in ww1 were often illustrated drinking lots of beer, so during the prohibition, propaganda was used to call alcoholics traitors or drinking a treasonous act. This has resulted in many nations falling for this stereotype, in addition to validating the use of propaganda against a hostile nation.
Women's equality movement:
1: A very obvious trend during the equality movement was that of fairness and justice. This has continued past just the movement and is now common in our day-to-day life.
2: Women involvement in the workforce and army has also become widespread with the equality movement, this has helped bolster our nation.
Jazz Age:
1: Jazz is now used in many forms of music, not just jazz. We can hear the inspiration of jazz in our pop songs and rock songs.
2: The freeflow abilities in Jazz are used in all sorts of music, and helped birth the use of wrapping and frestyleing.
