What would you do to survive if you were stranded on an island by yourself for months ?

Create a shelter. Shelters are vital when it comes to keeping you safe and out of the elements. The very first thing I will want to do is find a drinkable source of water

but the lack of it is the main reason many islands are uninhabited. So I’ll keep near the coast.

To desalinate seawater by distillation, you’d need a lot of fuel, which may be scarce. Driftwood may be available and some seaweeds burn well when dried. But I’d need wood to keep the fire going.

If I was stranded on a island for months i would find some food and water, find shelter,build a fire, and use my shirt as a filter for the water. I might find some rocks to spell "help", find a phone to call for help. I don't really know what I would really do if I was in that position but that's what sounds like someone should do.
