[tex]\large\mathfrak{{\pmb{\underline{To~find}}:}}[/tex]

  • The value of x

[tex]\large\mathfrak{{\pmb{\underline{Solution}}:}}[/tex]

  • The given triangle is a right angle triangle

[tex]\sf\implies{x^{2}=7^{2}+7^{2}~~~~~~~~(Pythagoras~theorem)}[/tex]

[tex]\sf\implies{x^{2}=49+49}[/tex]

[tex]\sf\implies{x^{2}=98}[/tex]

[tex]\sf\implies{x={\sqrt{98}}}[/tex]

[tex]\sf\implies{x={\sqrt{49×2}}}[/tex]

[tex]\sf\implies{x={\underline{\boxed{\sf{\pmb{7{\sqrt{2}}}}}}}}[/tex]

[tex]\large\therefore\mathfrak{{\pmb{\underline{Solution}}:}}[/tex]

  • [tex]\sf{x={\underline{\underline{\sf{\pmb{7{\sqrt{2}}}}}}}}[/tex]

using Pythagorean theorem

a²+b²=c² where 'a'&'b' are legs of the right angle triangle and 'c' is the hypotenuse of the right angle triangle

here two legs are given (7,7) and x is the hypotenuse

=>a²+b²=c²

=>7²+7²=x²

=>x²=49+49

=>x²=98

=>√x²=√98

=>x=7√2

I hope it helps have a great day
