warm and wet are conditions for low air pressure and hot and dry are the conditions for high air pressure system
A low pressure system has lower pressure at its center than the areas around it. Winds blow towards the low pressure, and the air rises in the atmosphere where they meet. As the air rises, the water vapor within it condenses forming clouds and often precipitation too. On the other hand a high pressure system has higher pressure at its center than the areas around it. Wind blows away from high pressure. Air from higher in the atmosphere sinks down to fill the space left as air blew outward.
The heat transfer is convection
Convection takes place when heated molecules move from one place to another, taking the heat with them. Convection always occur with the contact of objects. it cannot occur through waves or something else. Contact is necessary hence the foot of kids touches the sand and heat transfer occurs so it is convection.
