1. -4x + 2 = -18

2. x/3 - 6 = -2

-4x + 2 = -18
-4x -2 = -2
-4x = -20


-4x over -4 and -20 over -4 you divide and then you get positive 5 so x=5 because 2 negatives makes a positive

All I know is that answer 1 is 5
