A 12-year-old girl lives outside the city limits on a farm. She wants to play on a youth soccer team, but a youngster has to be a resident of the city to play in the city league, and there aren't any teams in the surrounding rural area. Her mother decides to lie about the girl’s address; the mother tells the soccer league that the girl lives inside the city at her uncle's house. The girl is delighted to play on a city soccer team, even though the team wins only three games all season.
