I need some ideas?! Writing prompt: Write an argumentative essay for or against maintaining traditional coming-of-age ceremonies, such as a bar mitzvah or a quinceañera. im writing mine about Christmas and why ppl dont like christmas this is what i have so far. I don't see why some people don't like Christmas. Every Christmas eve we get things ready for Christmas which means we cook the food, clean the house, and we bake dessert for after our Christmas meal. It takes about a whole day to prepare for Christmas. We also set up tables so their is enough room for everyone! Sometimes we even wrap a few presents for each other and we laugh, listen to Christmas music, dance, and sing! Then close to bedtime we make cookies for "Santa" and at our house we put coke out instead of milk. I just dont know how to go with the beginning of my writing promt.
