Im using multiplication for this :p
Since small packages cost him $3.20 to send, and he has to sell 6 of them, i did the equation:
[tex]3.20 * 6 = 19.20[/tex]
Now he has to send 4 large packages, each the price of $4.70. The equation:
[tex]4.70 * 4 = 18.80[/tex]
If you want to add them both:
[tex]18.80 + 19.20 = $38[/tex]
youre welcome :p
Answer: $38
Step-by-step explanation:
1. Multiply the cost of mailing a small package ($3.20) by the number of small packages he’s sending (6). Which is $19.20
2. Do the same thing as step one except for large packages instead of small. (4.70×4=18.80)
3. Now add the two $19.20 and $18.80 to get the answer $38
