The Spanish American war was a conflict between Spain and the United States for the liberation of the Cubans and the Filipinos and as well as the mysterious explosions of the US battleship U.S.S Maine, a slogan that the Americans would use “Remember the Maine!” blaming the Spanish for the explosion. This fight occurred in parts of Cuba and the Philippines in which started on April 21, 1898, and ended on August 13, 1898.
