Step 1: Determine the formula.
y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)
Step 2: Determine what variables you need.
(x₁,y₁) = a point on the line
m = slope
Step 3: Plug each number in for the variables and you have the completed point-slope form of the equation for the line.
