I am not 100% sure about the multitone image, but I believe it goes under bitmap.

Explanation:

Vector don't use pixels to create images, so they are a lot nicer to use than bitmap. They use mathematical equations to create a fine path that resizes and readjusts when you zoom in. Making them so much nicer than Bitmap Why? Bitmap images use pixels, that's why when you zoom in, you get pixels.
