y = 2x - 11

Substituting the first equation in to the second
5x + 1 = 2x - 11
3x = -12
x = -4

Plugging x = -4 into either equation

y = 2(-4) - 11
y = -8 - 11
y = -19

The point where the two lines intersect is (-4, -19)
