ok so whenany thing say a letter then (x). it simply means whats the answer to tht equation if x=#. in this case it means what would the answer of the equation be if t= 1.

First you input 1 in place for all values of t

f(1)= -4.9(1)^2 +3(1)+ 10

-4.9(1)^2= -4.9

then

3(1)= 3

-4.9+ 3+10= 8.1
