A music store sells only CDs. The manager buys the CDs for $8.00 each and sells them for $15.00 each. The monthly operating expenses total $10,000. How many CDs must the store sell each month to break even and start making profits?
You have 7 dollars profit for each CD sold. 10,000 divided by 7 is 1,428 so you must have atleast one more than that to have profit (although it would be very small)
