2k - 10 = 6

Can someone help me I can't figure out the answer

Okay so what you do is add 10 to the other side

2k - 10 +10 = 6 + 10

You would get .... 

2k = 16

Next you divide 16 by 2 which is 8

and that means 8 is equal to k

K = 8

2K=16

2K/2=K
16/2=8

K=8
