When the solar energy comes to the earth, 26 % of solar energy is reflected by atmosphere and clouds without reaching the earth surface. 4 % is reflected back after hitting the earth surface. 3 % absorbed by clouds and 51 % absorbed by land and ocean. 16 % absorbed by the particles present in the atmosphere. 64 % is radiated from atmosphere and clouds to space while 6 % is emitted from earth surface and 23 % is carried to clouds and atmosphere by latent heat of water vapours.
