The internet is useful to this team because then they can keep in contact with eachother, as well as know what the weather will be like in their cities (weather monitoring). This way they can see which flights are closed down in their airportm and if any of those flights would've went to their airport (Mitigating Flight Delays). So the two reasons the internet would be useful is for weather monitoring and mitiagating flight delays, for example, one million flight delays equals 64 million minutes in added wait time for passengers, so it's best to know ahead of time to give passengers alternatives.
