As the earth gets suns light on the basis of its tilted nature and the rotation on its axis and thus if the place in the north pole was reoriented with that of the sun more sunlight would reach the north parts and this could melt the snow and ice faster and though the equator would not be influenced much but the south pole would get darker and colder and thus would indirectly impact the climate of earth.
