Rewrite each equation in slope intercept form.

3y=4x-14

Divide all terms by 3

Y = 4/3x - 14/3

4y= -3x + 48

Divide all terms by 4:

Y= -3/4x + 12

The second slope (- 3/4) is the negative inverse of the first slope (4/3) so the lines are perpendicular.
