LHS

[tex]7\frac{1}{4} -3\frac{3}{4} = \frac{29}{4} -\frac{15}{4}[/tex]

= [tex]\frac{29}{4} -\frac{15}{4 } = \frac{14}{4}[/tex]

Taking RHS

[tex]4\frac{1}{4} -\frac{3}{4} = \frac{17}{4} -\frac{3}{4} =\frac{14}{4}[/tex]

clearly LHS = RHS hence both quantities are equal to each other
