The fact that no Neanderthals survived for long periods after injury or sickness suggests that the injured or sick received no help or caretaking from other Neanderthals
B as they may of received help when it was too late or the help wasn’t enough or it was the wrong help. The same thing happens nowadays — people are misdiagnosed or put in to treatment when the sickness is too bad etc.
