The ratification of the Declerstion allowed for a strong national government and outlined the duties of the representatives of both houses (Representative and the Senate) and the actions of the leaders of the country (including the President, secretary of state, vice president, etc.). It's included amendments also allowed for the protection of the peoples of the US and fixed the constitution with time (including the abolshiment of slavery and owning slaves).
